Detective

Merlin aka Finn began analyzing the genetic makeup of the blood sample he acquired from the Victim's dorm, trying to learn what He was up to.

As he waited for the computer to complete it's analysis, Detective Carpenter called Finn and asked him to come down to his Desk, so they can discuss what was found at the crime scene.
Finn began thinking to himself, trying to piece together why Warren would go after a single Metahuman, especially one that was hiding his abilities.

There must be a connection and a reason as to why he implanted a microchip in His eye.

Finn made his way to the Detective's desk, and asked. "You called for me?"

Detective Carpenter looked at an alert on his phone then looked up at Merlin and said, "oh hey Finn, thanks for meeting with me, I need to learn everything you know about this case, I have had no leads and the Medical examine
r said he sent the microchip you discovered to the Cyber Forensics department. Normally I would have gone with you to the Victim's Dorm, but I was by the Captain."

Merlin nodded in his understanding, and replied "well detective we discovered a blood sample at the victim's dorm, and while we we there we learned that someone had clearly been looking for it, but they were unable to find it, so they took anything and everything that belonged to him."

David nodded, "well then, do you know if the victim had a room mate, or anyone that possibly knew what he was involved in?"

Merlin shook his head and replied "sorry but it seems he kept a very private life, no one really knew who he was, and no one is letting on that they did. Or so Niko says."

David then looks back at his phone then says "well then, you tell me what you do manage to find when the DNA analysis is done, I have to go check out the victim's dorm for myself."

Merlin nods in agreement then heads back up to his computer.
