The Legend of Da Vinci
As Myrddin and Merlin' current season came to a close. Myrddin continued her journey as she went in search of Arthur' Return in every generation, not realizing that the Lord would use her as Merlin' Pastor, to help him stay on the right path.
Meanwhile... as Merlin continued to live His life as an immortal, and as time went on, Each century was an adventure, as God began to share with Him innovative and creative ideas, more and more each day. As Merlin made his way through the Earth, He soon found himself in Vinci, Florence.
Upon his arrival Merlin began to take notice, of the darkness that clouded the world, it was then that he knew He had to remain in Florence for a while, to become better acquainted with that time frame.
Using the knowledge he already possessed, Merlin took on the name of Pero Da Vinci, and became a Notary for his region, so that he could live among the people.
Living in Florence Merlin was able to speak to and encourage those around Him, in their gifts and talents. While he touched the lives of those he encountered, he felt His gifts grow, and talent suppressed in the position He currently held as a Notary. As the years passed and the land became noticeably darker, Merlin began to pray, wanting to know what He was supposed to do.
The Lord spoke to Him saying "I did not call you to follow the ways of man, but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You are meant to shine with all the glory I have placed within you, to bring light into the world around you." So Merlin asked the Lord "But lord I do encourage those around me!? What more am I supposed to do?" The Lord tells Him "use what is in your hands, the talent I have placed within you to express and create."
Merlin began to think, knowing that he was confined to His station as a notary, he decided to start over. Creating a new persona that would give Him the liberties that He would need to share the talents He was given. Merlin decided to burn His house down, to make it look like an accident, while sending His pregnant assistant to live with a neighboring friend for her own safety.
Faking His own death Merlin moved to a different area in the region, where He could establish himself as an artist and inventor of various creations, Calling himself Leonardo Da Vinci.
