The Future Awaits
After Merlin' discovery of His colossal mistake, he fell into a deep sleep, from the burden of His regret, it was then that the Lord began to speak to Him as he slept, encouraging Him to not lose heart.
Because the Lord had a remnant that had not bowed down to the teachings of the Shadow Brotherhood that would correct the aberration, that Merlin had created. The Lord gave Him visions of some of The Elite, so that He would recognize them.
Merlin awakens from His slumber, after having a vision of what the Lord called a few of the Elite. Just then Myrddin opens up a rift and says "Oh good, You're awake! Come with me, I've found the time of Arthur' Return." Merlin replies "Really!? What's it like?" Myrddin smiles "Come and see for yourself, although it's nothing like you would imagine."
Upon their arrival...
Merlin witnesses the majesty of Elite City, left in awe by it's design. Knowing full well that times had changed. Merlin then asks "How in the world did you find Arthur, in a city like this?" Myrddin replies "He got shot, and His blood matched a sample from His royal line. Guinevere recognized me and told me everything, she isa nurse in this era." Merlin panics "What did she do with the sword!?"
Myrddin answered "She donated it to the Museum of Natural History, so that it can be better guarded in plain sight, and there she found Lancelot working as a curator of Arthur' artifacts."
Merlin asks "What does all this mean?"
Myrddin sternly looks at Merlin and says "It means we are going to have to assimilate ourselves to this era."
Merlin smirks "if we are going to do this we will need to go back a few years before now, if we are to establish our new identities."
Myrddin reassuringly says "I've already taken care of it, while you slept, I went ahead of you and prepared the way for us both. You as a Forensic Scientist, and I as a Cyber Forensic Investigator, both of us working in law enforcement, this way we can keep a close eye on Arthur, to keep Him out of harms way."
Merlin smiles and says "You've thought of everything Mother, so what's His name?"
Myrddin replies "His name is David Carpenter, he is a Detective with the Elite City Police Department."
Merlin says "I only have one more question?"
Myrddin aska "what is it?"
Merlin says "what is a Forensic Scientist?"
Myrddin answers "an Osteogenesis Scientist."
Merlin smiles "Oh okay, that should be easy."
