Dark Knight
Merlin began seeing harrowing visions of a Kingdom just off the shores of Avalon nearby the Monastery where Myrddin was now staying, had suddenly manifested. Wanting to know more of this newly emerged Kingdom, Merlin went to Arthur to ask for a small group and himself to seek out this Kingdom and learn more about it, to find out if they were friend or foe.
Arthur seeing the worried look on Merlin' face, replied "Merlin, if you must find out more about this Kingdom, then I am coming with you, along with a small envoy of our finest men."
Merlin briefly concerned for His father' safety half heartedly nods "Yes my King, as you wish."
Meanwhile...
Myrddin awakened to a sharp pain in her side, and a sudden jolt of energy flowing through her, only to be interrupted by a powerful vision of a man dressed in a menacing suit of armor with a dull crown upon his head. Suddenly the vision slowly pulled out showing this man killing King Arthur. Then Myrddin was taken out of the vision and God revealed to Myrddin what would happen was His will but that He would avenge Arthur a hundred fold and Arthur would be rewarded for his sacrifice.
Myrddin immediately rose and prayed for Merlin, that God would give him wisdom and protection, as she continued to intercede for him. Her prayer was so fervent that Merlin' face appeared and she saw Him and Arthur riding out with a small procession of Knights to an unknown Kingdom.
Seeing that this Kingdom was nearby, Myrddin decides to ride out to see this Kingdom for herself,
not knowing the danger that lies ahead. Upon her arrival, she sees that Merlin and Arthur were fast approaching, so she hid herself, so as to not alert them of Her presence.
Suddenly Myrddin sensed danger nearby, and began looking around, focusing her attention on the lurking figures hiding in the trees. Placing energy fields to protect Arthur and Merlin from any attacks made by these watchmen. As Arthur and Merlin approached they felt a presence nearby, then heard the sound of arrows being shot at them.
Arthur shouted "Shields Men!" But quickly noticed that somehow none of the arrows were reaching them. Then the men that were hiding came out as they too noticed that their efforts were being blocked. Myrddin now unable to interfere watches as Arthur and Merlin handle the oncoming attack.
Merlin quickly raised his hand and a light emitted from Him that lit up the forrest so that they would be able to see the attack. In that moment Merlin looked to the side and saw His mother, realizing that's where the shield came from. Smiling Merlin opened a portal for His mother to return to the Monastery and Myrddin nodded Her head of approval, and whispered "be careful" Merlin nodded, as his mother' voice carried in the spirit to him.
And with that Myrddin stepped into the portal and disappeared.
